Online Studying

The part time Quality by Design course at De Montfort University is a distance learning course.

Distance learning means that you study on your own, either at home, work or wherever suits you at a time of day to suit your personal and employment needs. Material is supplied electronically so that you can read, watch or listen to material supplied from your own computer. Lectures are provided online and as these are pre-recorded, students can choose to view the videos at a convenient time to suit their needs.

Access to course material is via a web based platform with secure student log in which is obtained upon enrolment.

Although study is online, students have the support of DMU staff to provide regular guidance through their studies who can be contacted via email or telephone.

International access

As the course is studied and coursework submitted via the internet, this enables international students to undertake the course from their home country at a time to suit their individual needs.
